Link Us Transportation Inc is Hiring a Fleet Technician Near Santa Fe, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technician to join our team. As a Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, rebuild, and repair all components of company equipment as required within the assigned department.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or other breakdowns or failures in motor trucks or related equipment.
  • Utilize precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, voltmeters, digital multimeters, calibrators, and other electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Troubleshoot and conduct failure analysis of component parts and systems on trucks, truck tractors, trailers, or converter dollies (excluding body and frame specialists).
  • Apply welding skills and metallurgical knowledge to complete truck repairs when necessary.
  • Weld horizontally and vertically without air pockets in the bead for individuals working on converter dollies.
  • Apply knowledge of DOT, EPA, ICC, and OSHA rules and regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Diesel Truck Maintenance Degree preferred.
  • 1 year of truck repair experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of most systems located on trucks, truck tractors, semi-trailers, or converter dollies.
  • Ability to work in extreme hot or cold climates.
  • Proficiency in reading precision instruments and electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and conduct failure analysis of some component parts and systems on trucks, truck tractors, trailers, or converter dollies.
  • Prefer provide your own tools for maintenance work.
  • English(Required), Chinese(Prefered)
